At Dawn Patrol Coffee, we believe the best days start at first light. But for those navigating sarcoma, a rare cancer of the bone and soft tissue, getting back to the things they love requires more than just an early alarm. It takes resilience, specialized support, and a community that "just gets it."
Our Mission
The Dawn Patrol Project CIC is our social heartbeat. We host adaptive surf camps specifically designed for the sarcoma community to rediscover their physical confidence through "Blue Health"—the restorative power of being in or around water. Our goal is to help individuals rediscover the joy of life through surfing.
What We Do
-
Adaptive Surfing: Tailored 1-to-1 coaching with instructors trained in cancer-aware support and physical rehabilitation.
-
Community Connection: A supportive space to share stories and strength with fellow survivors, far away from clinical hospital settings.
-
Empowerment: Rebuilding trust in one’s body after limb-sparing surgeries, amputations, or treatment-related fatigue.
Fueling the Stoke
Every bag of Dawn Patrol Coffee you enjoy helps fuel this mission. A portion of our proceeds directly funds specialized equipment, travel bursaries, and beach safety staff, ensuring the ocean remains accessible to everyone in the sarcoma community, regardless of their physical or financial situation.
"The ocean doesn't see a patient; it only sees a surfer. We’re here to help you catch that first wave back to yourself."
