Notes on the wave.

Chicama’s waves are legendary. The point break here can produce waves that last for up to two minutes, allowing space to turn and cruise until your legs burn. The waves are consistent, with multiple sections that cater to different skill levels. It benefits from a unique combination of natural factors that create its perfect waves. The Humboldt Current brings cold, nutrient-rich waters up the coast of Peru, while consistent swells from the South Pacific provide the energy needed to generate the long, peeling left-handers.

Founded in 2004, Café Femenino is a true success story - it was created by a group of 464 female coffee producers in Peru, to create a more equitable trading platform in the coffee growing industry, and now it’s in nine countries all over the world, and supports thousands of women farmers! To put it in their own words, they’ve ‘developed a never-before-existing market for exclusively women-produced coffee to serve as an important vehicle for social change and the empowerment of poor, marginalised women coffee farmers. We’re so proud to source this coffee from such an incredible movement.
